To some, this is obvious. For others, it is not – and that’s OK. Even with neurologically affected kids, we parents must model how a good person acts in real-life situations. Yes, I’ve lost my mind a couple of times, but I then demonstrated how to apologize respectfully. It isn’t easy, but we need to show our kids how to behave appropriately, and sometimes we also need to explicitly tell them what we are doing, and why.
